This is a one time only opportunity. This special professional development event sees you have a 20 minute one-on-one consultation with well known artist and curator Ali Griffin to talk about your unique creative point of view and how to leverage your unique qualities for where you want to go next as an artist. Then you will get a one-on-one photoshoot with professional photographer Brent Lukey to shoot one of your artworks.

Ali has been supporting artists through her former role as Regional Exhibitions Officer at Yarra Ranges Council, and now she’s coming to Burrinja to talk to you about your unique storyline to enable your self promotion and marketing.
Brent Lukey ran the very successful how to photograph your own art workshop and now he’s back to create do a professional shot of your artwork to enable your self promotion and marketing.
You will book an hour session with the consultants.
First you will see Ali, please bring with you any information that may be helpful, links to your website, socials, your CV and/or bio. Be ready to discuss what you want to achieve in the future, where you want to have your work exhibited or how you want to promote your arts business.
Then you will take one artwork to be photographed by the professional photographer (if your artwork is not able to be photographed, then you are welcome to have a professional headshot taken, please bring any relavent props). You will be provided with one professional image after the photoshoot.
This package would usally cost you in excess of $1000. This is strictly booked on a first in basis.
The aerie experts in residence will see industry professionals available for a one on one conversations about your creative practice. There will be a different expert once a month. You can book a twenty minute conversation during each residency, but be quick as bookings are taken on a first in basis.
