Eliza Tiernan is an arts facilitator and curator based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her experience stems from over seven years working with a range of small to medium arts and cultural organisations, including her current position as Curatorial and Programs Manager at Craft Victoria. She has experience in exhibition and project management, fundraising, gallery administration, and social media strategy. Eliza takes a collaborative approach when working with artists and is passionate about providing supportive environments and building community. Eliza holds a Master in Arts and Cultural Manager from The University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Languages (French).
Craft Victoria
Craft Victoria is a national leader in the craft and design sector, promoting a cutting-edge vision of hand-crafted practice in the 21st century. For 50 years Craft Victoria has supported the growth of thousands of makers, nurtured hundreds of small creative businesses and challenged the boundaries of craft practice. Craft has built a vibrant and sustainable contemporary craft and design community by supporting, showcasing and celebrating all craft disciplines.
The aerie experts in residence will see industry professionals available for a one on one conversations about your creative practice. There will be a different expert once a month throughout the 2021-22 financial year. You can book a twenty minute conversation during each residency, but be quick as bookings are taken on a first in basis.

This workshop will be an informal, informative and intensive two hour session, with discussion and demonstrations that cover the essentials of photographing artwork – drawing, painting, sculpture and exhibition for social media and reproduction. Brent will answer all the dumb questions and provide real advice about how to better use your camera or camera phone with available light, everyday props and backgrounds. So now we have the image, the next step is how to better use the image.
